Rajya Krishi Utpadan Mandi Parishad, Government of Uttar Pradesh ("we," "us," or "our") operates the e-Mandi mobile application (the "App"). This application is strictly intended for use by authorized Mandi Officials, Sachivs, and Sachal Dal personnel of the Government of Uttar Pradesh for official administrative purposes.

We collect several different types of information to provide and improve our Service to you, specifically for enforcing agricultural mandates.

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data – While using our App, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). This includes:

• Mobile Number (used for OTP-based secure login)
• Email Address
• Employee ID / Office Details

Location Data – The App may collect location information with your permission. Background and foreground location access is required to capture precise GPS coordinates (Latitude and Longitude) during field inspections and vehicle checks to verify the geographical authenticity of reports submitted.

Camera and Files Access – The App requires access to the device camera and storage to:

• Capture live photographs of vehicles, goods, or gate passes during inspections
• Scan QR codes on 9R / Gate Passes
• Upload supporting documents to departmental servers

Usage Data – We may collect technical information such as IP address, device type, operating system version, login date and time, and diagnostic data to maintain system security.

2. Use of Data

The collected data is used for official purposes including:

• Authenticating authorized personnel via OTP login
• Logging field inspections with geotagged information
• Managing entry slips, Form-7, and Form-9
• Calculating Mandi Shulk, Vikas Cess, and Shaman Shulk
• Ensuring compliance with UP Mandi Parishad trade regulations
• Maintaining security and system integrity

3. Disclosure of Data

Legal Requirements – Personal Data may be disclosed if required to:

• Comply with legal obligations or requests from authorities
• Protect the rights or property of Rajya Krishi Utpadan Mandi Parishad
• Investigate misuse or wrongdoing related to the application
• Protect the safety of users or the public

The security of your data is important to us. All logins are protected using OTP-based authentication. Transactions, form submissions, and photo uploads are transmitted securely to government servers. While we follow industry-standard security practices, no system can guarantee absolute security.
